Lucrezia Abatzoglu (b. 1992) is an Italian–Greek artist based in London whose practice moves across painting, drawing, and textile work. Educated in fashion and costume design in Rome before completing an MFA at Camberwell College of Arts, she brings a sensitivity to material and surface into her art. Working with oils, charcoal, and natural fabrics, she often depicts the female body as both mythic and architectural, a form that stretches beyond the physical into memory, silence, and belonging. Her recent series deepen this exploration with a poetic balance of fragility and strength, marking her as an emerging voice whose work feels timeless yet distinctly contemporary.
