Georgia Beaumont (b. 1996) is a London-based, self-taught artist whose work reimagines floral forms as a means of deepening her connection to the natural and spiritual worlds. Her practice moves fluidly between observation and imagination, fusing memory and mind’s-eye imagery into compositions that are suggestive rather than literal.

Beaumont considers her forms to be a self-generative visual language. Rooted in nature yet shaped by imposed semi-symmetry and sigil-like structures that intersect with more sprawling, intuitive gestures. What initially appear as flowers sometimes evolve into abstracted forms, functioning more like symbols or letters than botanical representations. Working in oil paint on birch plywood, Beaumont builds thin veils and glazes to form delicate, petal-like structures that contrast with the strength and opacity of stem-like lines. Colour is approached intuitively.

Blush tones and rich greens hover gently within the compositions, creating a sense of dreaminess underpinned by repetition, experimentation, and instinct.
