Collection:

Cathy Tabbakh is a French painter of Armenian descent, based in London. Her practice explores the emotional and atmospheric power of colour, creating works that sit between the imagined and the real, where structural forms meet botanical references.

Drawing on still life, interior design and architecture, she balances control with organic growth, with a strong sensitivity to light, shadow and stillness. Paper is an important medium in her practice, alongside painting and ceramics, offering a space for immediacy and experimentation and allowing her to explore gesture, composition and colour in a more fluid and intimate way.

Tabbakh has exhibited internationally, with works held in private collections and in the Soho House Collection since 2021. Across all mediums, her work seeks to create quiet, contemplative moments through the interplay of colour, light and form.
