In 2021, he was the recipient of an Arts Council England DYCP award, which afforded time to research into the relationship between anxiety and sculpture. Wright has undertaken multiple residencies, most notably Kettle’s Yard Open House Residency (Cambridge, 2019-20), and Mildred’s Lane (USA, 2019).
